My favorite is all different kinds of berries on top of cheesecake. Also love to cube pound cake and layer with strawberries and vanilla pudding. All berries anytime are just wonderful!!!

I’m sure Driscolls has tons of great recipes, but our favorite thing to do is purchase blue berries and put them in our pancakes. Instead of stirring them in, after you place your batter on the skillet, you just drop them right on top and then flip when ready. They burst in your mouth and are delicious!

Any berry makes a great sauce; 1 quart of berries 1/4c sugar 1T lemon juice, whirl in a food processor and push through a mesh strainer to get the seeds out. I love raspberry sauce on cheesecake, strawberry on poundcake and blueberry on vanilla ice cream. It only takes 10 minutes to make a great sauce that will make a wonderful dessert look like a 5-star restaurant.

Also, I have nothing but goos things to say about berry sorbet, so definitely think of that on those hot summer days.

My favorite thing about berries is making smoothies! I’m pregnant more often than not, and making smoothies is a great, quick way for me to start my mornings before running around with the kids and making my daily trip to Kroger. Driscoll berries are my favorite because they don’t rot as quickly as other brands, and they’re the perfect size! My favorite smoothie recipe calls for:

    1/2 cup cut, frozen strawberries
    1/2 cup blueberries
    2 teaspoons agave nectar
    1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
    1/2 cup Greek yogurt.
    1/2 a frozen banana.

I just mix everything up in the blender, and it’s a great breakfast for my kids and me!

Oh, how I wish we had those “Season’s Finest” in my city! I see quite a few of your readers love strawberry shortcake, that’s my favorite use for strawberries too. I use the easy Bisquick shortcake recipe when I want to make it quickly:
    2 1/3 c. Bisquick
    1/2 c. milk
    4 tbsp. sugar
    3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. sugar (for sprinkling on top)

Mix first 4 ingredients, pour into greased square pan or muffin tray. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 425 degrees 10 to 20 minutes, cool and cut. Makes 9 servings.
