Peet’s Baridi Iced Coffee Review & Giveaway

Peet's Baridi Iced Coffee

How many coffee lovers are out there? Yeah - I am pretty sure that the majority of you guys raised your hand :-)

As you guys probably know, my husband is the biggest coffee fan ever. He can not start his day without coffee. Seriously, the temperature here in metro Atlanta has been in the triple digits the past few days and he will sit out on the deck sipping a cup of hot coffee--YUK!

Now me, I am not a coffee fan...or at least not a hot coffee fan. I prefer iced coffee or frappuccinos and the like.

The folks at Peet's Coffee were kind enough to send me a bag of their Baridi Iced Coffee Blend last week. So this morning, I decided to brew up a pot of iced coffee. Oh man it is so good. It's already like 80 degrees here and I am enjoying a big old cup of delicious iced coffee while finding a few deals.

What I love about the Peet's Baridi Iced Coffee Blend is that it tastes clean and refreshing over ice. I have tried to ice some of my husband's other coffees over ice and they taste bitter. Who wants to drink something that leaves a weird bitter aftertaste. That's not the case with the Peet's Coffee.

Their experts headed straight for East Africa, where high elevations and volcanic soils produce beans known for their sublime aromas and bright, clean finish.  The beans were carefully selected and roasted to produce a coffee that’s good over ice.

I think I might have converted my husband. At first he grumped a bit - but I told him he had to at least give it a try. He has already filled his big travel cup twice this morning. As he was making his second cup, I asked what he thought about the coffee. He said, "It's actually pretty good". Now...let me translate for you guys who may not speak Jim. What he was really saying it that "It's obvious that I really like this coffee since I have not poured yours out to make my own pot of coffee." - tee hee!

With the summer heat in the south just getting started, head out and grab your own bag of the Peet's Baridi Iced Coffee Blend. You guys will have to grab it while you can as it is only available through Labor Day. You can choose to get bags in whole bean or ground coffee. Be sure and load either your $0.50/1 Peet's Baridi Iced Coffee, 12 oz SavingStar (exp 07/11/2012) or $0.50/1 Peet's Baridi Iced Coffee, 12 oz bag Upromise (exp 07/11/2012) eCoupon to snag a little extra savings!

I already follow IHK on FB :) I would like to win a bag for my husband. I can’t really have coffee because of the caffeine affecting my heart condition :/ My husband goes through atleast 4-6 cups a day! I would really like to win, because he’s cutting a major chunk out of my food budget with the cost of coffee! I could get 4-5 things, for what I have to pay for 1 tub of coffee! lol Pick me! 😀

I love iced coffee from that fancy coffee place…only problem….I can’t afford to pay the fancy price to get my fix except on special occasions. I would love to see if this brand will make an equally great glass at home.

I love iced coffee at work, in a covered cup, of course! I am a pet groomer and sometimes my work area gets very hot and steamy. Refreshing and delicious.

I would love to try this while sitting on the porch of the cabin in the backyard. There’s nothing better than iced coffee and Amish gliders at dusk. Perfect end to a hot stressful day. I’ve never tried Peet’s coffee before and would love to.

I’d pour myself a tall glass of Peet’s to enjoy while working in my garden! It gets pretty hot out there, but it’s always exciting to see what we’re having for dinner tonight. No matter what it is, it goes well with iced coffee!
