Quick question from a coupon newbie….do you actually have to buy 10 of each item to receive the sale price at Kroger? I live in the Nashville area. Thanks!
Amanda, Kroger will give you the sale price regardless of buying “10″..if you buy 8 they’ll charge you $1 a piece..if an item is 3/$5 then you’ll pay $1.67 each if you buy 1 or 2…hope this helps
Old marketing trick. They want you to think you have to buy 10. They kind of mess up the scheme by only allowing five like coupons though. If their reason for only five like coupons is to have enough inventory for everyone, but they’re encouraging you to buy ten . . . So long as you aren’t using coupons. I just think its funny! Back when they didn’t have it so black and white in their written coupon policy, I used to argue that with them when they tried to limit my coupons to any number less than the posted deal.
I was once told that grocery stores are supposed to price their items as if they were being sold individually, regardless of ad price (i.e. Kroger Cheese 3/$5 priced $1.67 each) … However, when sales such as the Mega Event 10 for $5 are being held, it sometimes prevents people like myself from shopping there, as I only make small trips on non-paid weeks.
Birds Eye Voila Skillet Meal, Select Varieties, 21 to 23 oz, 50% OFF
