Hungry Jack Hashbrown Potatoes Only 79¢ At Kroger

January 9, 2013

hungry jack hashbrown potatoesYou can pick up a nice deal on those little cartons of Hungry Jack Hashbrowns!

Ok – I never gave these a second look until a few months ago. If I ever make hashbrown potatoes (which is very infrequent) I would typically grab the frozen bags. I accidentally picked one of these up cartons thinking they were included in a 10/$10 sale. When I got home and looked at my receipt I noticed the mistake – but figured I’d just keep them.

Well, I was shocked at how easy and yummy these were. My guys devoured them and proclaimed them better than the frozen variety! If you’ve never tried them, 79¢ is a good time to give them a go!

i started buying these awhile back when my husband was requesting hashbrowns pretty frequently and had a coupon for them and thought i’d give them a try. the soaking in water takes a little long but they are great and don’t take up a lot of room like the frozen kind do in the freezer. i ONLY buy these now because they are so much cheaper and taste great. i only do freezer if a recipe calls for it.
