Here’s the inclusion list for the mini General Mills mega sale we have going this week at Kroger. As a reminder, you will get a $5 Catalina when you buy 5 participating items.
I have listed the participating items and as many coupons as I could find. Please note that the prices below DO NOT take into account the Catalina – these are the shelf prices of the items. There are several freebies after Catalina and coupon including FREE Chex Mix, FREE Cheerios, FREE Green Giant Veggie Chips, FREE Suddenly Salad and FREE Totino’s Pizza!
Keep in mind that this mega starts 6/2 here in the Southeast. Some of you will not see this sale until your new ad begins. Be sure and click “read more” to see the full list!
If you find any additional items or coupons let me know and I will get them added.
Thank you so much…i was hoping that the mac n cheese would have been included like last year but snacks are good too.
there are a few other coupons on bettycrocker.com that will match up
There are 75cent off 1 Post Pebbles varieties cereals that I saw on eBay
If you use a Catalina in another transaction with products from the promotion, will a Catalina still come out?
It did not produce another Catalina in my store in north alabama… But they did give me a $5 gift card in its place. After that happened I purchased my remaining products in one transaction. Then, the Catalina’s wouldn’t scan because there wasn’t a barcode. It all worked out in the end but the cashier tried to tell me that it was not a valid $5 Catalina more like an ad… It always surprises me how unaware the cashiers and even managers are about their own ads and promotions.
Mine printed, but I also had the problem where there was no barcode on the Catalina. The cashier got permission to manually enter them. The second transaction also produced Catalinas with no barcodes so the cashier had the mgr initial them so they’ll take them the next time I shop.
I had the same issue in Canton, GA – no bar code, cashier INSISTING it was an advertisement, even when I showed him the store circular. Lucky for me, two store managers were nearby, we called them over, they keyed in the $5, and I had them wait while I did my second transaction. They were nice enough to just give me $5 cash when the second one printed, because I said I would have a difficult time redeeming the coupon with no bar code.
Hey Kroger, how about being ready to handle your own promotions??!!
is chex cereal on sale?
I did not see any Chex as part of the buy 5 get $5.00.
Thanks! This will make my trip much easier!
I purchased 4 Toaster Strudels and 1 Post Fruity Pebbles and didn’t receive a $5 catalina. What do you do if you bought 5 participating items and didn’t receive the $5 catalina???
I also bought 2 Betty Crocker fruit roll ups and 3 Totino’s and received a $5 catalina, just not sure why I didn’t receive the second catalina.
I went to customer service showed my receipt and received a $5 gift card.
I guess I will have to run back to the store this week to try to get a gift card then. Thanks Peggy!
I don’t think the post fruity pebbles was a participating item. It was on sale at my store, but not part of this promotion. If you go an buy one more participating item and show them both receipts, I bet they will give you the $5.
u purchased POST cereal not GENERAL MILLS
I do not think pebbles are part of the 5/5 deal…. I also got pebbles tonight… Pebbles is post and the Cat is for GM cereal….
I had a great trip. I did 2 transactions. 1st: 5 Fruit Snacks (-5x.75), 10 Progresso Soups (-5x .50/2 – doubled), 2 Fiber One Cereal (-2x .75) & 3 Totinos pizzas (-1/3). I used $9 oyno catalinas from the great Huggies Slip Ons deal last week and paid approx $14 oop. 2nd: 15 Totinos (-5x 1/3), 1 fruit snack (-.75), 1 Fiber One Cereal (-.75), 1 Multigrain Cheerios (-.75), and 2 progress soups (-.50/2 – doubled). I used the $20 oyno Catalinas from the 1st transaction and paid a little over $2 oop and ended with $20 in oyno Catalinas. The only problem was that the Catalinas printed with no barcodes. The cashier got permission to manually enter the coupons and had a mgr sign off so they’d take the remaining Catalinas when I next shop.
How long does this catalina keep going through, the sale is not in my area yet and should be probably next week but will the catalina still be around?
If you buy 20 participating items, will you recieve four catalinas or is there a limit?
You can get up to 4 in one transaction.
Are you sure they Post cereals are included in this deal? They are NOT marked as such in my storeS here in Louisville, Ky?!?!
No they are not included. They had a similar tag…sorry about that.
Betty Crocker.com has coupons for Golden Grahams .85/1 – makes them .65 after Catalina – also Cheerios Medley Crunch was included and has an .85 coupon on the BC site too.
Are none of the Post part of this sale, then? Are the Honey Bunches of Oats?
This is a General Mills Catalina. Post is a different company
In my ad the Nature Valley & Fiber One show for $1.99 (49¢ after coupons and Cat) the shelve tags show $2.99, am manager and I scanned every variety and some were indeed $1.99, apparently the tags are WRONG ! $1.99 is the correct price! I am THRILLED for 49¢ Nature Valley !
Any one else getting Nature Valley for 1.99?
My store(TN.)had them listed in the ad for 1.99,but tags at store said 2.99.I asked and they rang up 1.99.If it’s listed in your ad this week they should be 1.99.
My store had $1 peelie coupon on the Mountain High Yogurt. So, only $1.49 after $5 cat and $1 coupon! Thanks for this list. You make shopping easier Michelle!
I did four transactions of 5 items each and a $5 Catalina printed each time. However, none of the catalinas had barcodes, so they had to enter the catalinas in manually. I talked to customer service and they didn’t see any problems with manually entering the catalinas. Just be prepared before you go – you may need to convince your cashier or have them call customer service.
Oh, and the catalinas rolled.
Thank you for this list. I always appreciate all the information you provide.
In Atlanta our stores won’t accept the printable coupons anymore! May anybody explain why different areas accept them and others dont
I bought so much stuff with this sale and replenished my dwindling stockpile. I’ve pretty much printed and used every coupon that I can so I think I am done, unless another deal catches my eye. In the end, I spent around $30 after coupons, saving star, and catalinas and ended with: 18 totinos pizzas, 12 progresso soup, 26 Suddenly Salad, 8 GG Veggie Snacks, 6 Chex Mix, 14 cereal, 26 Fruit Snacks, 8 BC brownie mixes, 1 frosting, ,1 cake mix… and a Suave conditioner & Hugs drinks (not included in GM promo). I still have $20 in OYNO catalinas to pay for dairy, meat, and produce this week. I did feel a little like an extreme couponer, but I’ve learned that stocking up during these promotions really saves. I took advantage of the last GM deal and bought enough cereal to get me to this point.
Are the refried beans part of the sale?
Just ran out of the refried beans about a month ago. What a great sale
When does the Catalina end on general mills?
I was wondering the same thing, is this over? If so, it only lasted 1 week at my store.
