red plum printable coupons

My buddies Happy and Nancy let me know that they have had good luck combining the digital or in-ad coupons with manufacturer’s coupons in the current Super Sale. It seems like the Super Sale coupons are showing up as true “Kroger coupons” and so the registers are allowing manufacturer’s coupons to go through too. I was pretty surprised to hear this and you may have a different experience at your store – but I wanted to let you know that it is a possibility!

Here is a nice deal on Hefty Slider bags they have both been able to grab:

Hefty Slider Storage Bags, $1.50
-$0.50/1 Hefty Storage Bags or Hefty Freezer Bags Super Sale Digital Coupon (Kroger Store Coupon?)
-$1/2 Hefty Slider Bags (if still available)
-$1/2 Hefty, slider bags 07/28/2013 RP Insert (exp 10/31/2013)
-$1/2 Hefty Slider Bags, 12+ count 05/05/2013 RP Insert (exp 08/31/2013)
50¢ each if you are able to use both coupons.

Laura emailed to let me know that she noticed a little advertisement at the bottom of her Kroger receipt this week for 50 bonus Fuel Points for completing a survey about her visit (in addition to being entered to win a Kroger gift card). Be on the lookout for this on your receipt – it looks like you may be able to do one survey per week – can’t beat free Fuel Points!

Whitney emailed to remind us that there were some good $3/1 Huggies coupons in the 8/18 inserts to match up with our Huggies Catalina. If you have a little on in diapers, be sure to be on the lookout for deals to match and stock up on diapers! Here is the list of matching coupons:

Kroger Mailer 8.16.38 AM

Contessa emailed to let me know that she got a nice Kroger coupon mailer with some good coupons. Not everyone will get this one, but it never hurts to be on the lookout! The coupons included in her mailer were:

  • $25 in free groceries when you transfer a prescription
  • $1.50 off a produce purchase of $5 or more
  • $1.50 off a meat purchase of $5 of more

my store is allowing it, 4 boxes of freezer bags for 1.00 woo-hoo

  2. ellen says:

    Clarification…2 1.00 off 2 boxes, plus the e-coupon, plus a competitor 1.00 off coupon

  3. Gina says:

my Kroger states it can only accept one or the other? is this incorrect? do they allow one kroger coupon & one MC?

  4. Jesse says:

Even though the register may allow this to happen, you should not do it. The coupons that can be loaded on the plus card account specifically say that they are not to be combined and the fine print inside the account says the same thing. While it may be a good deal, it is against the rules. I personally wouldn’t do it as I feel we have enough restrictions on couponing because of people not following the rules.

Is this working for other Super Sale products or just the Hefty?
