A few weeks ago, I told you about one of my new favorite things – Glade Expressions Mist and Oil Diffusers. If you have not had a chance to try them you should definitely check them out. Kroger has a great selection and you will get a great deal just in time to get your house fresh for spring! For all my Atlanta neighbors you should also check out the Glade Expressions Happiair Tour that starts tomorrow!
At the Glade Expressions Happiair Tour, local Glade fans will have a chance to take advantage of everything the tour and online experience has to offer. In addition to testing out the new products, a fragrance consultant will be on-hand to help guests find their signature scent and experience how Glade Expressions Collection fragrances open up note-by-note. Guests will also receive coupons and samples from the new Glade Expressions Collection.
The tour will be at the Atlanta Home Show March 23rd – 25th and they will also make two Kroger store stops:
- Kroger Store Visit, 1225 Caroline Street NE, Tuesday March 20th, 3:00 – 7:00 PM
- Kroger Store Visit, 3559 Chamblee-Tucker Road, Wed. March 21st, 3:00 – 7:00 PM
As a reminder, I thought I would share my review again. It has been a few weeks since I initially tried the products and I can honestly tell you I liked them so much I have already restocked my cabinet.
Is there anything better than a house that is clean and smells fresh? In my slightly-obsessive-compulsive world, that is what I strive for on a daily basis. Due to the fact that I live with three males ages 4, 5 & 40+ my efforts are often foiled within minutes of a long day’s work!
I love my guys dearly…but, I will be honest and tell you that they stink! I have tried pretty much every air freshener that exists in an attempt to give my house a pleasing fragrance that is not overwhelming or “underwhelming”. I have tried cones, electric air fresheners, sprays and even machines that emit a fragrance when it detects motion. Some are just ok and some I have tried have been just awful. One of my biggest complaints is that the majority of air freshener products are extremely unattractive! I end up hiding them which ultimately defeats the purpose.
Most of us use some type of air freshener in the bathroom. I like to keep something in my powder room for guests. My powder room is small so I find that a spray works best. The issue I have is – where to put the can? If I leave it out for guests to use then I have a super ugly metal can with lots of writing and ugly flowers all over it. That is not my idea of attractive decor. My other option is to hide it under the cabinet. Most guests don’t feel comfortable rummaging around other folk’s cabinets and drawers. Guests will not be able to use what they can’t see.
Luckily the folks at SC Johnson have come up with a great line of products for all of us fragrance junkies who care about style. The new products in the Glade Expressions line are not only attractive but they are some of the best smelling home fragrances I have ever used.
Home fragrance is supposed to smell good, right? So why do so many of the air fresheners on the market smell like a mix between a chemical and a cheap perfume? I don’t know about you guys, but I want my home to smell fresh and inviting NOT like a bad walk through the fragrance department at the mall. Luckily there is a new option. I have totally fallen in love with the Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist. They smell like a natural fragrance that should be in a home. You know how your house smells when you cut a fresh pineapple or bake a pie in the oven…that is a natural scent. That is what I want to smell when I walk in my house and that’s what I want my guests to smell as well.
The Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist is unlike any spray I have ever used. First, you squeeze the bottle to release a fine mist that quickly disperses throughout the space. You don’t have to worry about wet furniture or floors. The smell is amazing and it really lasts. This is not a spray that is gone after a few seconds.
Besides the fact that it smells great, the Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist bottle looks great too! I am so excited that SC Johnson took that jump and decided to take the words off the bottle. These bottles are very basic and look great in any decor – bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, anywhere! I am guilty of hiding most fragrance items around my house. I want the smell but don’t want to see the ugly containers. With the Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist bottle, I can leave it out! That means my guests will actually be able to find the air freshener when they need it.
For all of you who prefer to have constant fragrance, SC Johnson also has a line of Glade Expressions Oil Diffusers. The oil diffusers don’t look like your typical air freshener. To me they look like mini art sculptures. The design is simple yet stylish enough to go with any decor. I have one of the Glade Expressions Oil Diffusers in my boys’ bathroom and one in my family room. Even though my rooms differ in size and style, the oil diffusers fit in perfectly and both rooms smell absolutely wonderful!
Have you guys tried the new products? If so what were your favorites?
Also, don’t forget to share your design dilemma with me over HERE. If your dilemma is selected you will not only get info from a guest designer, you will also win great Glade prizes and one winner also gets a $150 Kroger gift card.
